Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is now a value creator. CSR carries the shared values for the company and the society. The concept of CSR in India gives an opportunity to serve the people and planet. Serving the people is the most attractive profession across the world, that’s why CSR has become an attractive profession in India. CSR is an opportunity to be part of the solution of many socio-economic challenges. In India, CSR is principally a concept whereby business organisations decide to spent a definite percentage of their profit either voluntarily or as mandated by the Law, towards building a society.
