He completed this journey in 4 days and covered about 3,700 km in distance.
Specially-Abled Man Travels From Kanyakumari To Kashmir On Bike
Prasanna Kumar from Hyderabad went on a solo bike ride recently. He covered a distance of 3,700 kilometres from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
His friends were planning a bike ride, but Prasanna couldn’t join them because his bike is smaller than theirs and he is specially-abled. He did not give up on his dream, as he believed that not the bike but the person mattered. He set out on his journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on his own bike.
Prasanna spoke to a few people who have already achieved this feat and planned his trip. He did not think about finishing it quickly, it was all at his own pace. He completed the distance in four and a half days. (As per Hindustan Times)
Turned Passion Into Profession
Prasanna Kumar, who covered the distance from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, was hit by a Jeep in an accident while he was on his way to apply for his visa to New Zealand. He wanted to pursue a masters in New Zealand. The people in the Jeep were drunk, and the accident happened. He lost his right leg and was very much in anguish. He was slipping into depression.
To channel his anger and frustration, he decided to join a gym. He felt motivated and also opted for a prosthetic leg.
By opening his own business as a professional wedding studio in Hyderabad, he transformed his love into a career. Along with being a photographer, he also represents Hyderabad’s “Tashan” biker club as its brand ambassador. He is an accomplished horse rider and also values fitness. Prasanna also appeared in the Varun Tej film “Supreme.” (as per Hans India)
