Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Pvt Ltd (RBEI) has initiated work with the local community to create a more vibrant city.
“Our facility is recognised at the national level for our role in sustainable practices. We look for smart, long lasting solutions”, Anitha, Head – HR at RBEI Coimbatore Centre, said.
Stating that RBEI’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is aligned with the centre/location, where it has been set up, she said “the focus is on water, energy and healthcare.”
For nurturing CSR projects, the company has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with PSG and Karnataka National Institute of Technology.
Robert Bosch Foundation Village, India has adopted six villages,where support is being extended for education, health, vocational and occupational training and women empowerment.
In Coimbatore, the village adoption exercise is said to be happening in and around Saravanampatti.
The company is collaborating with government schools in the city to transform them to model schools, she said.
According to TK Sathyanarayana, vice-president – HR, the company has roped in its associates to take it forward.
