Challenges Nowhera Shaik had to face to establish her business

Nowhera Shaik started a Residential college for Girls at the age of 19 to provide better education to young girls. During those days, she started teaching with only six students, who gradually became 1000 and multiplied in a very short duration.
Initial success and courage supported her to start a women’s group. Later Shaik sold her ancestral properties and established a Heera group to start a residential school for girls. However, one thing is clear she did not take the loan as she knows the interest based loan is haram in Islam. As per Shaik’s statement, “providing interest from a loan is treated as Haram in Islam.” She is a religious lady, so she decided to choose the alternative way to start her business journey. It was not easy to take such a big risk at the age of 20’s. Moreover, as a female, it’s very hard to take such a risk.
In 2017, Heera group was the most profitable company.
In 2017, the Heera group recorded its best-ever performance in the last 23 years. The Heera Group company was selected for The Indian Super 100 books and owns half a dozen malls, and trades in gold, textile, Real Estate, and electronics.

Formation of All India Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP)
In 2018, Nowhera Sheik formed the All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) with the noble cause to empower poor women and contested for 224 assembly seats in Karnataka. She said, “I would rather dissolve party than contesting an election on communal grounds.” Every Indian expects this type of attitude from an honest politician; however, we lack this principle in all the major politicians.
Nowhera Shaik always tries to break social taboos through her activities and bold statements. Nowhera Shaik and the All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) have been vocal on social issues, particularly women’s rights and women’s causes. Party is giving special attention to the cause of women’s rights and women empowerment. AIMEP has announced plans to form speedy trial courts to ensure prompt justice for women in their previous Manifesto.
Nowhera Shaik stands with farmers
All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) president Dr. Nowhera Shaik promised to care for farmers by waiving previous loans. MEP promulgated specific prices for farm products that will help poor farmers. Development is the second most important issue in the MEP agenda after issues related to women’s causes.
MEP president Nowhera Shaik is too dedicated to women’s cause; that’s why she founded a political party. Shaik formed a party to increase women’s participation in active electoral politics.
Nowhera Shaik demanded 50 percent reservation for women
MEP and Nowhera have been vocal on women’s rights and women’s security. Shaik has promulgated that if MEP forms government in the state, the 50% reservation will be given to women. MEP wants 50% participation for women in the parliament and Assembly.
Various parties have formed the government, but no action has been taken on women’s reservations.
