In a new post on Twitter on Monday, Harsh Goenka shared a beautiful artwork on women empowerment made by artist Bohra Sisters. The animated video has gone viral on social media and Harsh Goenka noticed it soon, and shared it on his timeline.
In the video, Bohra Sisters illustrated a sketch of a young girl in order to narrate her story from her journey of a child bride to that of an educated girl attending school. “Give her wings to fly,” reads the message at the end of the video.
Animated features were used in the video as the artist used her fingers to provide a 3D effect to the artwork. AR Rahman’s popular 1992 song Dil Hai Chhota Sa from the film Roja was used in the backdrop of the clip to set the mood of the concept of women empowerment.
The video was originally shared on Women’s Day on March 8 by Bohra Sisters on their Instagram account with the caption, “Women and girls have always been vulnerable in our society. Sadly so many times their own family or loved ones are culprits. Being moms to girls ourselves, we feel this video may reach people and we can be hopeful for the future. This video is dedicated for all those beautiful butterflies who could have soared so high and also the ones that beat the odds and are currently flying high.”
The video has gone viral all across social media and has been shared frequently by netizens. In the comments section, users commended the amazing artwork created by Bohra Sisters.
