CSR : Vodafone Foundation financial literacy program aims to reach 1 crore people

Financial planning is an important life skill which is critical for everyone.

AHMEDABAD: Vodafone Foundation aimed at reaching out to 1 crore people by the year 2020 to support government’s vision of financial inclusion in state of Gujarat.

Jaadu Ginni Ka – is a financial literacy programme – launched by Anarben Patel, founder of Gramshree, empowers to make financially sound decisions in order to enhance the quality of life.

“Supported by the government, the programme comprises of useful real-world topics such as Basic Financial Concepts, Borrowings, Investments, Financial Planning, will be implemented and monitored under the supervision of District Panchayat Ahmedabad.”, Vodafone said.

P. Balaji, Director – Regulatory, External Affairs & CSR, Vodafone India, informed, “Our focus is to provide contextual and customized financial literacy content to the population at the bottom of the pyramid.”
