Jamshedpur: Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour at the Bistupur office of Bank of Baroda. The regional head Nand Dulal Jana hoisted the National Flag. A free eye check up camp was organized on this occasion by the Bistupur and Adityapur branches of the bank. Several other corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives were also taken by the bank on this occasion.
After the flag hoisting ceremony, blankets were distributed among the patients of Brahmananda Hospital at Pardih. Lunch boxes were distributed among the students of Urdu Government School, Shastrinagar. Water purifier was donated to Women’s College, Bistupur, and Surya Mandir in Bundu. Steel sofas were given to Beldih Kalibari and Bhalubasa Hanuman Mandir. Jerseys and sports kits were provided to the students of Balak Vidyalaya, Jugsalai. A feast was organized for the inmates of Old Age Home in Baradwari.
