New Delhi: BCCL took an initiative under its CSR activity to aware women and girls about personal hygiene in peripheral villages of BCCL. Seeking a rise in COVID-19 cases BCCL took this opportunity.
The awareness program was organised by the CSR team in the village of Karmatand welcomed the participants and informed them about “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav on April 02, 2021.
The event was led by Dr. Saswati Pandit, doctor of Karmik Nagar Hospital. Dr. Pandit communicated the importance of handwashing and demonstrated the activity to the participants in a detailed manner. She also provided insights to maintain hygiene in daily life and in the forthcoming monsoon season. After the demonstration, a quick question-answer session was held where the concerns of participants were addressed by the doctor.
The event was concluded with the vote of thanks to the doctor and participants present.
