BALLIA: On his marriage day, a man in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia set a new precedent for bridegrooms. Tapan Pandey invited orphans and differently-abled children to his marriage and took a pledge to donate his eyes in presence of doctors from BHU.
Tapan, who got married to one Anjali Mishra had demanded just five saplings as dowry.
“They are also part of society and I am happy to share this event with them”, he said.
Tapan is working as an administrative assistant in ISRO. Before getting a job in ISRO he was working in the Indian Air Force.
