Under the Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Development activities, NTPC Ltd’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Station opened a new mobile repairing centre at village Darrabhatha, a company press release informed.
The centre was inaugurated by Tapan Kumar Bandopadhyaya, Additional General Manager (MGR) in the presence of Sarpanch, village Darrabhatha, Phaguram Banjare and other NTPC officials and large number of unemployed youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Bandopadhyaya advised people to take various precautions while crossing the railway tracks so that all types of accidents can be avoided.
He also lauded NTPC’s effort towards upgradation of skill of the unemployed and unskilled youths by which they can earn their livelihood.
