Enjoy a taste of nostalgia this lunchtime as Plant-Based Dairylea Dunkers are making their long-awaited debut
Snack lovers looking for plant-based options now have a new offering to enjoy as Dairylea expands its popular Dunkers range with the launch of Plant-Based Dunkers with Jumbo Tubes.
The new product promises the same great taste of Dairylea but with a twist – this time it’s dairy-free.
Designed to appeal to a growing demand for plant-based snacks, the new Dairylea Plant-Based Dunkers feature a creamy and delicious dairy-free dip paired with crispy ‘Jumbo Tubes’, perfect for lunchboxes and snacking on-the-go.
The creamy plant-based dip is made with coconut oil, oat flour and yeast protein, whilst the jumbo tubes are corn-based and flavoured with garlic, onion, rosemary and horseradish.
Additionally, the vegan-friendly Dunkers contains no added preservatives or colourings and is enriched with calcium, making it a tasty, nutritious alternative to traditional cheese snacks.
Ria Rianti, Senior Brand Manager for Dairylea at Mondelēz International, expressed the company’s excitement about the launch, telling Vegan Food & Living: “We’re excited to add a delicious plant-based offering to the Dairylea range.
“We know our customers have been calling-out for a dairy alternative, so we’re delighted that we can now bring the great taste of Dairylea to people who eat plant-based.”
Where to buy Plant Based Dunkers Jumbo Tubes
The new Plant-based Dunkers, retailing at £3.25 for a four-pack, will be available at Tesco and Ocado from mid-September, with plans to roll out to Sainsbury’s later in the month.
This launch is part of a growing trend toward more plant-based options in mainstream brands, offering more choices for vegan and flexitarian consumers.
But with this exciting new launch, vegans and plant-based dieters can tuck into their favourite childhood snack once more.
