Sonali Bank PLC has started distributing two thousand umbrellas among day labourers, especially rickshaw pullers, to reduce their suffering from the current heat wave this summer across the country.
Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Bank PLC Md Afzal Karim inaugurated the activities under the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) at Motihjeel, in front of the bank’s head office on Sunday, according to a press statement.
Among others, Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers of Head Office, and employees were present.
Sonali Bank PLC will distribute these umbrellas among day labourers in different places across the country, including in the capital.
